December 2015 Show Wrap Up

We would like to start by thanking everyone for joining us at the December Mesa Morning Live show, sponsored by Wells Fargo Business Bank and hosted at Crescent Crown Distributing. We had a great turnout and it is always nice to see so many new members come and enjoy this unique experience. You can see why Mesa Morning Live is “Kind of a Big Deal”!

A big thank you goes out to Hilton Phoenix/Mesa who provided an amazing breakfast. Everything was above and beyond!

We started the show off with fantastic music from Pastor Bob Lenz of Thrive Christian Community Church, channeling the stylings of Elvis.

The show continued with our episode sponsor, Wells Fargo Business Bank, spreading good cheer by giving everyone that attended the show a lovely Christmas ornament. Our guest from Wells Fargo Business Bank was Rhonda Curtis who talked to us about Wells Fargo Bank opportunities for Mesa’s business community. Rhonda also shared exciting community news, in particular this year they were able to help A New Leaf with $200,000 grant for their La Mesita Shelter. Wells Fargo Bank is a great community partner and we really appreciate their annual sponsorship.

This month our Mystery Guest, sponsored by the Hilton Phoenix/Mesa was Chef Ryan Staroszk of the Hilton Phoenix/Mesa. Not only did Chef Ryan and his team provide all attendees with a fantastic breakfast but he also brought the most guest. The Hilton is a great place for an amazing meal at the Zuni Grill, or a place for your guest to stay during the holidays. We really enjoyed having Chef Ryan as our Mystery Guest!

Would you like a chance to be our Mystery Guest and be interviewed by Mark Cordes?  Be the person who brings the most first-time guests to Mesa Morning Live and you could be on stage next month.

December’s Community Spotlight, sponsored by Gateway Bank, had Mike Hughs, CEO of A New Leaf. They are a fantastic non-profit out of Mesa that has been helping families and changing lives for nearly 40 years with over 25 programs Valley wide including homeless and domestic violence shelters, youth and community programs. With more than 300 employees, a financially supportive Foundation and the benefit of over 15,000 volunteer hours a year, A New Leaf provides services to nearly 20,000 individuals annually. Thank you to Mike and everyone at A New Leaf for everything you have done for our community. Mike has been with A New Leaf for 38 years and his passion for what he does shines through.

As usual, we owe a great big THANK YOU to the multi-talented Mark Cordes.  We truly appreciate Mark being our host. You keep the show fun and upbeat at all times.
